Consonus today announced three new hires that extend the companys already deep knowledge of and experience with virtualization and disaster recovery. Patrick R. Dunn joins the Consonus IT Consulting team as principal consultant responsible for building and implementing Consonus Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity consulting program on a national scale. Stan Yarbrough joins the Consonus IT Consulting team as a senior consultant responsible for the companys Virtualization solutions. Brian Costello joins the Consonus IT Consulting team as delivery consultant for infrastructure computing and virtualization. All three new hires have considerable cloud computing and cloud services expertise.
Patrick Dunn brings to Consonus over 20 years of experience in providing IT consulting and IT infrastructure services focused on Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning, crisis and incident management, information security, data center operations, and IT and project management for multi-national Fortune 500 and Big Five accounting firms. As a Business Continuity Professional, he has provided business continuity consulting services in the United States and Europe. His industry expertise includes financial, entertainment, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, healthcare, and government.
A member of the Association for Contingency Planners (ACP), the Southeast Continuity Planners Association (SCPA), the Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas (CPAC), Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine and his credentials include Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP). Patrick has presented at Contingency Planning Management and other national conferences on a variety of Disaster Recovery, Security and Pandemic topics.
Stan Yarbrough also brings to Consonus over 20 years experience as an operations manager, technologist, engineer, and architect in the support of business development, solutions development, and the implementation and support of enterprise network, telecommunications and security solutions. Stans expertise encompasses designing, implementing, and managing enterprise routing and switching architectures, remote access solutions, data center planning, enterprise applications, security and business continuity solutions, data center migrations, data center relocations, service policy, and virtualization. His experience includes engagements with Lowes Corporation, S1, CARE, Consolidated Container Company, BellSouth/AT&T, HBOC/McKesson, Georgia Pacific, Delta Airlines, and most recently was Operations Manager for the Katalyst Network Group and Senior Manager, Technology Consulting Services for North Highland.
Stans many credentials include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Master Certified Novell Engineer (MCNE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), and he is a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) candidate.
Brian Costello joins the Consonus IT Consulting team as delivery consultant for infrastructure computing and virtualization. Brian was most recently the infrastructure support Analyst for Burts Bees, Inc. in Durham, NC where he supported more than 500 customers around the world. Brian has extensive experience performing NetBackup implementations and also Physical-to-Virtual (PV2) implementations, specifically around migrating Windows 2003 servers to the VMware ESX 3.5 environment.
