GL Communications Inc. a leader in providing PC-based test, analysis and simulation products and consulting services to the worldwide telecommunications industry, conveyed today the availability of its product MAPS LTE S1 Interface Emulator.
Speaking to media persons, Mr. Jagdish Vadalia Senior Manager said, GLs Message Automation & Protocol Simulation (MAPS) designed for testing LTE S1 interface (any interface excluding Air interface) can simulate eNodeB (Evolved Node B), and MME (Mobility Management Entity).
He added, MAPS is also capable of simulating S11 and S5/S8 (LTE-eGTP) interfaces. Other interfaces such as S4, S11, and S12 will also be supported by the application in near future.
Mr. Vadalia further added, GL also provides a GUI based LTE Analyzer for on-line capture and decode of the signaling in real-time both during tests and as a stand-alone tracer for live systems.
