4-Axis Turner Made its IWF Debut at Laguna Tools Display

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) September 07, 2012

The earth spins on its axis, while this remarkable new CNC offering from Laguna Tools turns on four of them! This is a true 4-Axis Turner offering woodworking professionals and serious hobbyists many of the same specifications found on Laguna Tools’ much larger CNC machines, yet only in a smaller package at a very affordable price. The Laguna CNC 4-Axis Turner made its debut at the IWF Show on August 22, 2012, bringing a new sensation to CNC machinery.

It truly is the best of both worlds, said Torben Helshoj, President of Laguna Tools. Not only does it require a very conservative footprint (36 x 80 with 13″ of Z travel at 10″ diameter on A axis), but this beautifully engineered piece of equipment enables woodworkers to literally create anything they envision from intricately carved gun stocks and wood turnings to claw foot legs with mortiseand-tendon joints. Basically, if you can imagine it, you can create it with the Laguna 4 Axis CNC Turner. Even flat stock can be easily processed by simply removing the turner attachment.

The Laguna 4-Axis CNC Turner is also available in a two-up version with two spindles and two rotary axis for even higher turning productivity, and woodworkers will appreciate the ease-of-use of the Austrian-made Laguna CNC Touch Controller from B&R Automation. Were very proud of the control system, which we developed in cooperation with B&R, said Helshoj. Our customers say its the easiest, most intuitive control package theyve ever used.

Helshoj points out that its non-Windows
