Network Automation Named to Software Magazines 30th Annual Software 500

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2012

Network Automation, the premier provider of scalable IT and business process automation software, AutoMate 9, today announced its inclusion in Software Magazines Software 500 ranking of the worlds largest software and service providers, now in its 30th year. Network Automation was ranked #494, with revenue growth of 25.4%. This marks the second year in a row that Network Automation has been named to this list. The firm was also ranked #5 in revenue growth for companies in the $ 5-$ 10 million range.

FY12 was a historic year for Network Automation with record revenue increases, client additions and channel partnerships due in large part to the release of AutoMate 9 and AutoMate BPA Server 9. The enhanced version of Network Automations software solution provides a Windows-based automation development, deployment and execution environment that allows IT professionals to deliver consistent, frequent, high value-added IT and business process automation. With an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop user interface, AutoMate supports the world’s most popular and commonly used technologies including Windows Administration, VMware, SharePoint, Exchange, FTP, PGP, Twitter and others.

The 2012 Software 500 results show that revenue growth in the software and services industry was again healthy, with total Software 500 revenue of $ 643.6 billion worldwide for 2011, representing approximately 17 percent growth from the previous years list, says John P. Desmond, editor, Software Magazine.

The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff research and create the short list of business partners, says Desmond. It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version, to be posted soon at http://www.softwaremag.com, is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.

We are proud to be ranked on the Software 500 list for the second consecutive year alongside other leading software companies around the world. said Gary Bishop, CEO Network Automation. The industry is growing at a rapid pace and this recognition further demonstrates demand for automation technology and our continuous commitment to innovation and improvement.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the worlds largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2011. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services and consulting.
