Dalet Galaxy and the portfolio of Dalet solutions can be previewed during NAB 2012 in Las Vegas, April 16-19, 2012, at the Dalet booth (SL4615).

Dalet Galaxy takes our Dalet Enterprise Edition MAM platform to the next level and will offer many benefits to our customers. With Dalet Galaxy, weve incorporated an advanced, industry-standard Business Process Management workflow engine into our core MAM product and tailored it to meet the needs of broadcast and media companies. Dalet Galaxy adds important new dimensions to the MAM, making it the first open and fully integrated platform for managing media and workflows in a convergent world. With the capability to manipulate any type of digital object, including video, audio, text, and graphics, the possibilities are endless, says Stephane Schlayen, Chief Operating Officer, Dalet. All the operational and business processes are now fully visible and monitored across the enterprise, in real-time. Customers can control their processes at all levels horizontally and vertically. This kind of insight and agility will be increasingly important in our fast-changing business environment.

The new BPM workflow engine in Dalet Galaxy includes tools for designing and modeling workflows, and for orchestrating human tasks as well as automated processes (transcoding, file transfers, etc.). This comes with contextual To Do list capability, which adds even greater productivity to the workflow and transparency to the operators. Managers can prioritize and re-assign tasks and make sure deadlines are met.

This breakthrough technology goes well beyond automation. With BPM, you can see the totality of the workflow, and at the same time, you can identify the internal progress of each workflow step at a granular level see where assets are in the workflow, check statuses, change priorities and pinpoint bottlenecks. Other business sectors have already benefited greatly from BPM, and now we are bringing the same potential to the broadcast and media industry, explains Kevin Savina, Director of Product Management, Dalet. There will also be many new and significant workflow enhancements in Dalet Galaxy, such as the new user interface and Dalet One Cut, our fully integrated multitrack video editor. Weve also expanded capabilities for video and metadata exchanges between our MAM and leading NLEs; the Dalet Xtend module, which already supported Apple Final Cut Pro, now supports Avid NLEs and will soon support Adobe Premiere. From start to finish and in many different ways, Dalet Galaxy will truly make your business smarter and more efficient.

Data can be used to build Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ongoing Business Activity Monitoring

Contextual To Do Lists streamline the workflow and ensure compliance with established procedures. Tasks are prioritized and assigned to individual users or user groups. When operators accept a task, the tools needed to complete the task (video editor, metadata form, etc.) automatically open on the users desktop. There is no doubt about which tool to use, what asset to work on or how to proceed as user prompts drive the task to completion.

The New Graphical User Interface is completely updated to meet modern usability standards and will provide a consistent look across all applications. The GUI also features different skins. Either a light or dark background can be applied to particular functions or workgroups in order to make the desktop tools easier to see and navigate. For instance, the dark background might be applied for technical operators who perform tasks in low-light environments such as gallery control rooms, while the light background might be more beneficial for users focused on text, metadata entry, indexing and logging.

Dalet One Cut is a real-time, multitrack video and audio editing platform. One Cut is the ideal tool for multimedia journalists and content prep operators. The system can be configured to match the complexity of different tasks and the proficiency of the users. Clips can be stored in the Dalet Clip Bin where they can be shared, assembled and storyboarded.

Dalet Xtend for Avid NLEs and Adobe Premiere This module provides for seamless exchanges of videos, shot lists, EDLs and their metadata between NLEs and the Dalet MAM and is now available for Avid Media Composer and Avid NewsCutter in addition to Apple Final Cut Pro. The module will shortly be available for Adobe Premiere editing systems.

Plainview, NY (PRWEB) May 06, 2011

Fastrack Healthcare Systems, Inc. announced today a new program for clients of their SaaS, also commonly known as Hosted Model, for utilizing their HME/DME, Infusion Pharmacy and Home Healthcare Agency software.

According to Spencer Kay, President of Fastrack, Our clients have a choice of licensing the software to run on their in-house servers or to utilize our Hosted Model in which they access the software on Fastrack servers via the Internet. The new ownership program is the first of its kind in that a large portion of the monthly hosting fees are applied to the purchase price if the client decides they want to own the software license. Most clients will own the software in approximately 42 months, however they can pay the difference at any time to obtain ownership. Ownership potentially offers significant tax advantages and the software can be reflected as an asset of the business increasing its value. Paying hosting fees without potential ownership is like throwing money out the window.

Fastrack Hosting offers access to the full application including patient intake, billing with electronic claims submission, ERA auto cash posting, CSI, Same & Similar status, inventory control, purchasing, clinical module and more, without the need to have their own server and the related expenses.

CureMD Unveils Smart Cloud, All-In-One EHR for Oncologists at ASCO Annual Meeting

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 04, 2012

The unveiling comes just weeks after CureMD was awarded the number one ranking by KLAS as the leading Cloud-based EHR for the ambulatory physician office marketplace. Unlike many of its competitors in the field, CureMDs solution is comprised of the functions necessary to manage a busy practice including billing, scheduling, e-prescribing, electronic health records, document management and a patient portal.

According to Kamal Hashmat, CEO, the nimble and easy to learn CureMD solution reduces the timeline to attest for Meaningful Use by 60%. Deployment costs have been reduced by up to 55% due in part to the fact that the application has been engineered to run on Microsofts .NET platform using a single SQL Server database. The software suite is easily accessible from any windows device with an internet connection.

We have gone to great lengths to enhance our award winning SMART CLOUD solution for ASCO Oncologists to help them efficiently manage their office workflows, including the ordering and tracking of chemotherapy regimens said Hashmat, selecting and managing the most appropriate protocols, using the latest standard of care, helps each Oncologist combat the downward spiral on reimbursements, which too often is made known to the Oncologist by an insurance payer long after a treatment plan has begun.

The Board of Directors at CureMD have recommended special introductory subscription pricing of $ 495 per month for the first physician with discounts available for each additional provider in the group. Low start-up fees apply for implementation and training.

Kamal Hashmat and other members of the CureMD team will be demonstrating and answering questions from booth 5017 alongside the EHR Lab within the Practice Management and Office Automation section of the exhibit hall at McCormick Place, the site of this years annual meeting.

Independent Research Firm Unveils New Study that Identifies Data Center-to-Data Center WAN Connectivity as a Major Impediment for Big Data Deployments

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2011

Infineta Systems, the first and only provider of WAN optimization systems for Big Traffic workflows, today released the findings of a new research report that examines the intersection of Big Data and the enterprise WAN. Conducted by Infineta in collaboration with Internet Research Group (IRG), an independent analysis and research firm, the report looks in-depth at large organizations leveraging Big Data to make better business decisions, and identifies several emerging trends that are poised to become barriers to the adoption of Big Data technologies. Drawing on real-world customer use cases and extensive customer surveys, the research also validates that the WAN is a critical component of a distributed Big Data strategy and that breakthrough WAN optimization technologies are essential for the enterprise to fully harness the power and promise of Big Data.

Prior to this study, there was very little insight into the ability of existing WAN infrastructure to sustain the runaway growth of Big Data, stated Raj Kanaya, CEO and co-founder of Infineta Systems. Our collaborative research effort with IRG provides solid insights into the intersection of Big Data and the WAN, and how enterprises need to plan for and equip their infrastructure so they see material business benefits of Big Data sooner.

Big Data is the newest driver behind Big Traffic workflows traversing enterprise networks and refers to data sets that are not well suited for traditional storage or analytics systems. An estimated 80-90% of Big Data is comprised of semi- or unstructured data, unlike the structured data found in conventional data sets. In addition, Big Data is characterized by aggregate volumes in the 100s of terabytes to petabytes of distributed data. Indeed, mission-critical data sets are doubling or tripling in size every two years on average, with Gartner forecasting that enterprise data will grow approximately 800% by 2015.

Why Big Data Matters

Big Data heralds enormous change and untapped value for the enterprise, as new technologies emerge to handle Big Data analysis, presentation, management, and distribution. Key drivers behind these technologies include:

Xangati Unveils StormTracker The Industrys First Solution to Tackle Performance Storms Devastating Productivity in the Cloud

Cupertino, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2012

Xangati, the recognized leader in performance management for virtualization and cloud environments, today unveiled StormTracker, the industrys first solution to immediately identify cross-silo storm patternsthrough live storm detection as they emerge in a cloud infrastructure. According to a recent ZK Research report, over 90 percent of virtualization admins believe existing management tools dont provide the integrated insight of how server+hypervisor, network and storage interact, which inhibits ITs ability to effectively manage cloud performance. (See related release here.) For the first time, Xangatis StormTracker gives organizations the ability to instantly identify storms, proactively track their impact and know how to remediate them by processing second-by-second insights spanning all interactions occurring throughout the cloud infrastructure.

StormTracker includes a new, robust, in-memory storm detection sub-engine integrated into Xangatis flagship Performance Management Engine which leverages a next generation computing architecture; and an interactive and contextual UI with multiple views into the entire cloud environment. In addition, Xangati has integrated performance management with capacity management to deliver essential insights to admins to ensure they right-size the expansion of their cloud hardware infrastructure.

All of the new StormTracker functionality will be integrated into the companys award-winning Xangati Management Dashboard (XMD) suite as well as its Xangati for vSphereFree single host tool. StormTracker will also be available as a free upgrade for existing Xangati customers. Xangati will showcase StormTracker at VMworld San Francisco August 26-30, Booth #2413.

Assuring cloud performance is top of mind for every IT executive seeking to transform their data center. Unfortunately for these executives their clouds are being devastated by transient performance storms flying in under the radar of their pre-existing monitoring solutions, said Alan Robin, CEO of Xangati. Only Xangati is rising to the challenge of managing the always in flux cloud infrastructure with StormTracker empowering administrators to instantly identify emerging storms. And even more importantly provides exclusive insight on how to avoid these storms in the future.

Traditional alert monitoring solutions were designed to focus on shifts in individual metrics in a pre-cloud data center environment, said Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst with ZK Research. My research shows that admins are uncomfortable with this model, given how the data center has evolvedinvestigating alerts is akin to chasing ones tail. By tracking storm fronts and their source, Xangati empowers IT to always understand how their cloud is behaving and to instantly identify emerging stormssaving valuable time and resources, while allowing them to anticipate and avoid future storms.

StormTracker Captures What Competing Solutions Miss Transient Storage, CPU, Memory and Network Storms

Inherently sluggish database-driven alert monitoring solutions fail to identify storms for two primary reasons. The first is that their after-the-fact architectures miss short-term shifts that are a mainstay of transient storms. The second is that chasing stand-alone metric alerts is only presenting an isolated symptom and doesnt get one to cause. That is why alert monitoring fosters post-mortem analysis which puts IT in an unproductive reactive posturewhere uncovering the source of storms is regularly taking anywhere from two hours up to days.

In contrast, Xangati StormTracker highlights storms instantaneously as they emerge, with key features including:

XSolutions Unveils Starter Website Program to Reduce the Cost and Hassle of Getting On the Net for Small Businesses

Pomona, NY (PRWEB) September 27, 2012

Many small businesses still do not have a website. In fact, a recent study from Statistic Brain puts that percentage as high as 75%. BizReport cites a study from WebVisible claiming that nearly 50% of businesses either do not have a website or do not put much effort to promote the site they do have. Whichever number you believe, the fact is that these statistics are staggering and troubling.

Without a website, your business is virtually invisible to your prospects and customers, says Joseph Imperato Sr., Managing Partner at XSolutions. Today, people use the internet to find vendors; the printed phone book is a relic from the past. If you do not have a website not many people will know your business exists.

In an effort to help small companies, XSolutions unveiled its new Starter Website Program specifically designed to get a basic website up and running in just a few days. For less than $ 10.00 a month, XSolutions will:
