While most of the area businesses are closed due to the power outage, Brownstone is fully operational and ready to assist their clients following the storm.

The company also took steps to ensure that their customers were prepared to weather the storm. Publishing e-newsletters, blog posts, tweets and Facebook status updates were all part of Brownstones plan to reach their customers before Hurricane Irene reached New England.

The company even reached out to customers and non-customers alike during the weekend of the storm via Twitter and Facebook to increase awareness about the storm and provide tips to remain safe during the storm.
