Consonus today announced additional dates and locations for its “What’s New with NetBackup 7″ and “Optimize the Data Center with Cloud Storage” event series, designed to inform and educate IT and business communities about cloud computing, secure email and file archiving, virtualization, and world-class data protection practices.
What’s New with NetBackup 7
Offering an in-depth look at NetBackup 7, this presentation affords attendees the opportunity to directly experience new features as well as benefit from an optional personalized, complimentary consultation with a Consonus data protection specialist. Attendees will explore some of the robust features of NetBackup 7 including OpsCenter, a built-in reporting and management console to simplify backup operations; new de-duplication features to control backup storage growth; user-friendly virtual server backup and recovery; and integrated backup replication for improved disaster recovery.
The events include a facilitated discussion on data protection strategies and their tie-ins to new features of NetBackup 7, as well as an opportunity for attendees to interact with fellow practitioners and share first-hand experiences.
