Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16 is an attestation standard put forth by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The examination covered a review period spanning twelve months, and is undertaken by a service auditor to report on controls used by ShoreGroup in providing services to its customers, where the controls are likely to be relevant to a customers internal control over financial reporting (ICFR).
