Dolly Drive Opens First European Data Center, Bringing Online Backup for Apples Time Machine to Mac Users Throughout Europe

Cloud services provider Cirrus Thinking announces the launch of the first European data center for Dolly Drive, the online backup and local disaster recovery solution for Mac users. The C3 Military grade storage facility is the first of Dolly Drives planned network of international data centers that will provide faster initial uploads and incremental backup capabilities for thousands of Dolly Drive customers throughout Europe. It is a major milestone for first year cloud services company, Cirrus Thinking, makers of Dolly Drive.

We had such an enormous response from Mac users throughout Europe that one of our top priorities immediately became the creation of a Data center on that side of the Atlantic said Anthony Palermo, CEO of Dolly Drive. Weve taken 6000 miles of data travel out of the equation making Dolly Drive as fast and efficient for thousands of European users as it is for those throughout America.

Current Dolly Drive customers in Europe will be contacted individually to have their data migrated to the European data center. New customers are given an option to select their primary data center during the sign-up process.

Dolly Drive is a subscription software and online storage service designed for Apples Time Machine. In addition to providing Mac users offsite cloud storage directly through the Time Machine application, the application allows users to create a bootable clone of your Mac on an external hard drive for local disaster recovery.
