The Lane Style House Launches Crowdfunding Project On Rock The Post

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) May 29, 2012

Designer labels spend thousands of dollars managing sample requests from the media and PR services. Unfortunately, a large number of talented designers are not able to receive press and media exposure due to their limited finances, until now.

The Lane Style House believes that money should not affect a brand’s ability to gain exposure. The Lane Style House is revolutionizing how the media connects with emerging and established labels by creating an organized online showroom that houses designer samples and can manage requests in an automated environment for a fraction of the costs.

The Lane Style House, LLC, a virtual global showroom, is a pivot that joins fashion stylists, editors, press and buyers with emerging and established designer brands. Featured designers will have the option to lend, rent and accept wholesale orders, right from their own showroom page. The designers will benefit from the backend sample tracking, press crawler and product performance reporting.

The Lane Style House invites its influential users to browse the designers showroom page and offers the user a one-click process to request the desired look directly from the designer, free of charge. In the event the user just wants to feature the designers image(s) for the desired look, they are able to download a hi-resolution image, directly from the designers product page.

Buyers will be able to purchase collections online, in one-click. The Lane Style House is unique because it is the only website that combines sample tracking and requests, clothing rental, wholesale purchasing and press monitoring in a interactive environment, offering an affordable alternative to traditional PR services.

The Lane Style House’s revenue will come from our consumers paid monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions and an initial set-up fee for showroom placement.

The Lane Style House has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Rock The Post to involve the fashion industry community with further website development and to cover staffing needs. In exchange for the support, the company offers perks such as Fashionable “Thank You” gifts; Membership Discounts; Partners Page Banner Positions; and more…

Telehomecare Research Project Launched

Schaumburg, IL and Toronto, ON (PRWEB) June 05, 2012

ParaMed and CellTrak announce their support for an important new industry research project integrating the University Health Networks (UHN) telemonitoring system with the CellTrak system. This system provides home healthcare nurses with up-to-date client information for visits and timely intervention in case of deteriorating health.

The research will be conducted over the next two years through financial contributions from the National Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Strategic Research Network in Healthcare Support through Information Technology Enhancements (hSITE).

During the first year of the multi-year project, the existing remote client monitoring system will be adapted for use by home healthcare nurses. The second year will be devoted to piloting the resulting system with ParaMed nurses.

ParaMed has deployed the CellTrak system, which provides encrypted transfer of data between the point-of-care and the backend servers. CellTraks patented software-as-a-service solutions run on GPS-enabled mobile devices via a homecare technology platform which automates workflow and reduces cost. In particular, time and attendance, mileage records, travel times, visit times, care plans, and client information can be transferred. CellTrak enables communication between the home healthcare nurses and their local offices. ParaMed home healthcare nurses currently use BlackBerry mobile smart phone devices for CellTrak, which are compatible with an existing UHN telemonitoring system.

The new mobile telemonitoring system for chronic disease management has been developed at the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, Techna Institute, University Health Network (UHN). The system was designed as a cost-effective tool to enhance client self-care and clinical management for various chronic diseases, including heart failure, hypertension, and diabetes.

Weve shown effectiveness of telemonitoring in acute care and primary care settings, but we are looking at new models of care centered in homecare in this study, says Dr. Joseph Cafazzo, Lead, Centre for Global eHealth Innovation, University Health Network.

Various client parameters (i.e. weight, blood pressure, symptoms, blood glucose, ECG) are sent with the use of wireless medical devices to a BlackBerry mobile phone. The BlackBerry then automatically sends the information to data servers. An appropriate message or instruction is sent back to the client, and necessary alerts are sent to a clinicians mobile phone. The efficacy of the telemonitoring system has been evaluated through randomized controlled trials in clinics and family physician practices, but its application for use by home healthcare nurses has not been explored.

CellTrak eliminates inefficient, error-prone paper-based reporting processes, and provides automated patient specific care plans and visit records. Combined with GPS mileage monitoring and automated visit verification CellTrak automates workflow, improves compliance, reduces costs and helps you improve outcomes at the point of care. This innovative approach to mobile health applications opens up a broad range of point of care solutions.

Cyaras Automated Testing Suite Reduces Call Center Technology Deployment Risk, Saves Project at Global, U.S.-Based Financial Institution

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2012

Cyara today announced the publishing of their latest customer success story detailing how automated testing saved a 2012 technology upgrade deployment at a global financial institution based in the U.S. Cyara is a pioneer of next-generation premise and cloud solutions for testing, monitoring and simulation of interactive voice response (IVRs) and contact center systems and applications.

This case study documents in great detail the reality of what can go wrong and does in many deployments with so many moving parts, as is the case in complex contact center infrastructure and application deployments, says Alok Kulkarni, CEO, Cyara.

One of the many Cyara benefits cited by the customer in the interview was the ability to eliminate vendor misunderstandings, which can be crucial to the success of complex deployments.

The value of the Cyara tools went way beyond basic IVR verification, says the senior technical project manager, allowing the organization to quantify errors found in the IVR, including call recordings that could be provided to the vendor to help them in cleaning up the IVR code and functions that were found to be missing. The vendor discussions were far more succinct and removed any possibility of misunderstanding, she says.

We know what Cyaras automated testing suite can do for our customers, he says, but were delighted to see the customer and in particular, the project manager, come up with some unintended use cases for how Cyara could and did help make the project a success, says Kulkarni.

The case study, while extremely detailed with a narrative driven by direct customer quotes, does not mention the company by name. Our customer is extremely happy with the deployment, but has a policy of not officially endorsing vendors publicly, says Kulkarni. However, they allowed us to interview the senior technical project manager to document in detail the deployment and how automated testing played a critical role in the success of their contact center and IVR technology upgrade. says Kulkarni.

Our customers are committed to staying ahead of potential points of failure and rectifying them before customer experience is impacted. This customers experience with our suite in their technology upgrade is another proof point in Cyaras commitment to deliver a cost-effective, time saving suite of automated solutions customers themselves can use to ensure they deliver intended customer experience, says Kulkarni.

Highlights of the Case Study Include:

– Control, collaboration, flexible testing instills customer confidence
