Atlanta, GA (Vocus/PRWEB) April 14, 2011

GNAX extended its ability to offer healthcare providers direct connection to its Healthcare IT Ecosystem through Level 3 Communications, Inc. Level 3 extended its network infrastructure in Georgia with the construction of a full network point of presence and fiber node at Global Net Access’s (GNAX) AtlantaNAP Data Center, the main healthcare IT hub in Georgia. GNAX hosts a range of healthcare customers, including two of Georgia’s largest hospital systems.

GNAX/AtlantaNAP is one of the largest healthcare data centers in Georgia, recently announcing a health information exchange (HIE) that is free all healthcare providers. Once you are connected into this ecosystem from a network perspective, you have direct access to a multitude of healthcare technology services, not only from GNAX but from our partners and other healthcare technology providers who we service in our data center as well.

According to the June 2010 Cisco, Visual Networking Index, recent industry estimates show that healthcare data is more than quadrupling every two years, and Level 3′s high-capacity backbone network and targeted services are well-equipped to manage this increasingly dramatic rise. Level 3 offers a variety of network solutions designed to meet the growing communications needs of the healthcare industry, including strategic planning for future network requirements, managed and efficient storage solutions, disaster recovery capabilities, and optimized network planning to improve organizational efficiencies.

Multi-Browser Support

The August release expands Autotasks support of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers for its Home, CRM, Service Desk, Projects, Contracts, Timesheets and Directory modules, ensuring users can access Autotask from virtually any device connected to the Internet.

Workflow Automation

The workflow engine, which is central to Autotask and allows users to automate and optimize critical business processes, has been extended to the service desk and sales opportunities modules and includes even more granular triggers based on time and/or note type entries, more refined service level agreement targets, a broader range of conditional operators, and offers more flexible action, update and notification options.

Liquidware Labs Extends Flagship Stratusphere Product Line with Two New Offerings to be Shown At VMworld 2012

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2012

Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, announced it will demo two new offerings at its Booth #2536 at VMworld 2012. Stratusphere IXD, (Interactive Designer) is an automated image, host, and storage design solution for virtual desktop infrastructures, and Stratusphere Adapter is a specialized desktop metrics feed into VMware vCenter Operations for single pane-of-glass monitoring across the entire desktop environment.

Stratusphere IXD: Interactive Designer for Image, Host and Storage

Liquidware Labs Stratusphere IXD enables virtualization architects to automate the design of corporate desktop gold master images, and size hosts and storage architectures for next generation virtual desktops. Stratusphere IXD leverages assessment data collected by Stratusphere FIT, Liquidware Labs award winning, industry-leading assessment solution. The solution also simplifies the creation of shared images and resource pools for virtual and physical server farms or cloud-hosted infrastructures. Stratusphere IXD is planned to be generally available in fall 2012.

Stratusphere IXD automates the process of designing key virtual desktop environment components with a very high level of accuracy. Designs are based on actual observed usage patterns which are then applied to the best one-to-many shared-image pooled strategy, said Jason Mattox, CTO of Liquidware Labs. Using precise image, host and storage designs right at the start prevents the cost overruns, poor performance and capacity constraints that can stall View desktop projects and have negative impacts on end users.

Stratusphere IXD supports iterative design by allowing an architect to apply many different factors and criteria to real-world usage and consumption data, and observe the resulting changes in infrastructure capacity, overall cost and performance requirements.

At PQR, we are at the forefront of evaluating new technologies that come on the market so we may provide educated guidance to our customers for products that provide genuine value to them, said Ruben Spruijt, thought-leader and CTO at PQR, a major systems integrator based in the Netherlands. I would say that anyone who is planning a move to virtual desktops needs to consider this solution to enable them to capitalize on shared-image strategies and resource pools to gain the most cost-effective and efficient approach to deliver desktops.

Stratusphere Adapter: Single Pane of Glass Monitoring with VMware vCenter Operations

Stratusphere Adapter allows an integration feed for Stratusphere FIT desktop assessment metrics and Stratusphere UX user experience metrics into VMware vCenter Operations. Administrators can get an excellent granular view of users desktop experience in a single pane of glass delivered from custom dashboards that they can create without implementing costly and complex BI layers. The Stratusphere Adapter integration feed is available currently through a Liquidware Labs JumpStart services engagement.

Stratusphere Adapter simplifies the process of populating data into vCenter Operations by leveraging VDI FIT and VDI UX Composite Scores, which compile a range of key indicators into a single score indicating Good / Fair / Poor desktop performance. Only Liquidware Labs Stratusphere offerings provide unique granular time- and consumption-based metrics about users and applications running inside the guest, including Application Launch Time, Application Response Time, Application Not Responding, Login Delay, Network Latency, Failed Network Connections, Disk IOPS and Queues, CPU Usage and Queues and Memory and Page File Usage. With Stratusphere Adapter, datacenter and desktop administrators can track their entire environment of Windows

CorreLog Further Extends Mainframe Log Management Reach, Announces ACF2 and Top Secret Syslog-to-SIEM Capability

Naples, FL (PRWEB) August 30, 2012

CorreLog, the leader in software solutions for IT security event correlation, today announced that CA ACF2 and Top Secret security events have been added to its industry leading Agent for z/OS. The inclusion of ACF2 and Top Secret data to the Agent for z/OS further broadens CorreLogs mainframe reach into log management for security information and event management (SIEM) systems, a software space predominantly running on distributed platforms. The CorreLog Agent for z/OS is now capable of delivering mainframe event data for SIEM in the form of TSO Logons, Production Job ABENDs, TCP/IP Connections, FTP File Transfers, and data from DB2, RACF, ACF2 and Top Secret.

With more critical enterprise data and applications residing on IBM z/OS, auditing becomes a key concern as organizations prepare to maintain compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, FERC, FISMA, PCI DSS, SOX and many others. Adding ACF2 and Top Secret data to enterprise SIEM systems not only provides improved visibility to mainframe security but also offers an added reference point for compliance in the event of an audit.

A mainframe is a huge investment for any organization, said George Faucher, CorreLog president and CEO. And Im not just talking about the pure cost of the hardware, Faucher added. When you consider the value of the data and applications running on a mainframe and the consequences of non-compliance, its natural for us to continue to expand the scope of events our z/OS agent can manage. Real-time security and DB events are crucial and required when dealing with regulatory compliance.

The CorreLog Agent for z/OS runs on both the CorreLog Enterprise Server or can run as a complement to another SIEM solution. The Agent for z/OS allows users to view mainframe SMF security, database and TCP/IP events, alongside events from Windows, UNIX, Linux, routers, firewalls, and other IT assets. When included with other log and event data within the CorreLog Server, CorreLogs unique correlation engine and helpdesk ticket auto notification feature can alert IT security personnel of cyber-threats before they happen.

Were striving to give customers a comprehensive view of their IT security with an audit trail, added Faucher. Todays announcement and last weeks announcement of the CorreLog Agent for SAP are two great reasons to look at CorreLog for securing your IT, regardless of your current SIEM system.

The ACF2 and Top Secret inclusion to the CorreLog Agent for z/OS comes on the heels of CorreLog joining the CA Technology Partner Program (TPP) earlier this year. CAs TPP is a collaborative effort with ISVs and IHVs across the world to develop and market integrated solutions that complement CA Technologies offerings. More information on the CA TPP can be found at http://www.ca.com.

CorreLog’s flagship product, the CorreLog Enterprise Server, combines log management, Syslog, Syslog-NG, SNMP, auto-learning functions, neural network modeling, proprietary semantic correlation, automated help-desk ticketing and reporting functions into a unique multi-platform security solution. CorreLog Enterprise Server operates across Windows, UNIX, Linux and mainframe platforms, shipping with an out-of-box PCI DSS compliant CorreLog agent for IBM z/OS, the worlds most popular mainframe operating system.

CorreLog delivers an essential viewpoint via dashboard console, providing verifiable and actionable information on the activity of users, devices, and applications to proactively meet organizational SLAs and regulatory requirements. Additionally, CorreLog automatically identifies and responds to any suspicious behavior, network attacks, or policy violations by indexing and correlating user activity and event logs, then archives the data in an enterprise server system location. This allows customer organizations to quickly identify then proactively respond to compliance violations, policy breaches, cyber-attacks and insider threats. For auditing and forensics, CorreLog facilitates regulatory requirements set forth by PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA, NERC, NCUA, and many other standards. CorreLog markets its solutions through both direct and indirect partner channels.
