Oracle Certified Partner TriCore Solutions LLC has Won the Prestigious 2010 Oracle North America Titan Award in the Category of Database, Grid and RAC Solutions

TriCore Solutions accepted the honor at Oracle OpenWorld 2010 on Sept. 19. The Massachusetts company provides Remote Database Management Services, Professional Services, Implementation Services, Product Sales and Strategic Staffing. The Titan Award reflects the company’s leadership in performance and sales for Oracle database solutions in high-growth markets including Manufacturing , Retail, Semi-conductors and Financial Services.

Among other accomplishments, TriCore Solutions had delivered $ 3.6 million in savings for MKS Instruments through the deployment of a database upgrade.

Hosted Application Management and Cloud Services Company OneNeck to Provide Oracle E-Business Suite Cloud Services for Hearthside Food Solutions

Under the terms of the contract, OneNeck will provide managed and cloud services for Hearthsides Oracle E-Business Suite application to support its business critical environment. Specific services provided under the agreement are application administration, database administration, operating system administration, network management and infrastructure management.

Hearthside is the largest independent bakery in the U.S., operating 13 food manufacturing plants in six states. In a recent acquisition, Hearthside purchased a business from an existing OneNeck customer. Hearthside had a number of options to consider for the new divisions ERP environment. After careful consideration, the decision was made to keep the ERP environment with OneNeck due to its robust capabilities in cloud services and industry leading support. As part of the new contract, Hearthsides physical platform was rapidly migrated to OneNecks VPS platform, while maintaining seamless business continuity.

OneNeck had been hosting the Oracle environment for some time prior to the acquisition and was viewed by local IT and management as a solid performer, stated Bob Burchfield, Hearthside CIO. We decided to move to the OneNeck VPS platform to contain costs and maximize reliability and flexibility. The migration was smooth and the VPS platform has met all of our expectations.
