Tel-Aviv, Israel (PRWEB) April 12, 2012

Actus Digital, a developer of web-based media monitoring, content repurposing and verification solutions for broadcasters, cable and satellite providers, IPTV, media and monitoring agencies, governments, regulators and content producers announced today that Asia TV USA, a distributor of Zee TV channels in the USA, has selected the enterprise Actus Ratings Analyzer solution to automate monitoring of ratings performance across multiple channels. Zee TV has been a longtime Actus customer, ordering its first fully digital TV compliance and rating analyzer system several years ago, comments Sima Levy, CEO, Actus Digital. Based on the success of the existing installation, its USA channel distributor, Asia TV USA, purchased an Actus system, totaling many dozens of channels, to support the expansion into worldwide coverage. The new Actus installation will feature the Actus Rating Analyzer Microsoft Silverlight infrastructure, a new fully-automated detection of content (commercials) on Asia TV USAs own channels and on other relevant channels, and a fully-automated clip creation system for re-purposing feeds to Internet and mobile phones.

In addition to the proven performance of the Rating Analyzer system installed at Zee Networks, Actus is able to provide a path for us to connect monitoring and analysis across multiple operations globally. This will allow staff to look at the performance of Zee Networks programs as a whole, says Unmesh Khadilka, Asia TV USA. Having all of the data in one place will allow us to better understand program performance and how we can leverage program content to enhance viewer satisfaction throughout the world.

With its ability to connect monitoring with Zee international operations, Actus will eventually provide an integrated global monitoring solution for Zee Networks and its channel distributors. Levy adds, Actus was selected following a competitive technical evaluation, and the deployment of the various systems on three continents will occur gradually until the end of 2012. Australian Based Backup Provider Uses ROBOBAK to Keep Data Safe from Mother Earth

Joondalup, Australia (Vocus/PRWEB) March 17, 2011

Corporate Backup, an Australian based offsite backup provider, today announced that it has successfully been using the ROBOBAK data protection suite to protect businesses and home user data from computer crashes, viruses, theft and more recently from a string of violent natural disasters for the past three years.

Corporate Backup offers users peace of mind in todays volatile environment by securely safeguarding multiple copies of their data in the cloud. From surging and deadly floods in Brisbane to raging wildfires in Perth, the country of Australia and its local citizens have taken a violent beating from Mother Earth.

We used to ask our clients to back up their data on tape, then move it offsite. We found that the rate of getting them to actually do it was abysmal, said Kevin. And most of our clients arent large enough to justify having a service come by to pick up their tapes. Even if they were, sending the tapes off to a secret location somewhere means losing their data for at least a day, if not more. He added.

Kevin anticipates that it will quadruple its data protection business over the next 18 months, and predicts country-wide growth through a wholesale arm tailored primarily to IT consultants and corporate businesses. ROBOBAK is a hands-free, set it and forget it solution, Kevin said. And as we grow, I know it will scale without requiring us to add additional hardware, or disrupt our service to our customers. We couldnt offer this service to our customers if we needed to do the usual hand-holding required by other software products.

ILS Technology and Acclaim Energy Advisors Join Forces to Keep the Lights on in Texas this Summer and Beyond

Boca Raton FL (PRWEB) June 05, 2012

ILS Technology today announced Acclaim Energy Advisors has chosen its deviceWISE M2M Application Platform to support their solution to potential power shortfalls in the state of Texas.

With a booming population and temperatures rising, Texas is facing a power shortage likely to surpass that of summer 2011, which resulted in rolling brownouts throughout the state. Although many public utilities have established demand response incentives, by which customers agree to drop off the grid on needs-based request, fewer than ten percent of commercial and industrial customers currently participate.

Acclaim Energy Advisors has developed an automated service to optimize the public and private sectors participation in demand response programs, taking into account their usage profile and operating characteristics. The ILS Technology deviceWISE M2M Application Platform will extract data from customer devices and equipment and provide real-time information about power consumption at multiple sites across the entire power grid. Together, the companies will enable customers to optimize their power consumption while simultaneously providing the data needed by electricity providers to balance the load and avoid brownouts, blackouts and related damage to customer equipment all with no added tax burden or increase in electricity rates for Texas residents and businesses.

Were extremely pleased to have been chosen by Acclaim Energy Advisors to provide our deviceWISE M2M Application Platform in cooperation with AT&T mobile network services for this important market solution, said Fred Yentz, CEO of ILS Technology. It is rewarding to see our solution offerings used to assist Acclaim Energy Advisors in managing the critical electrical infrastructure in Texas.

Texas is blessed to have a free-standing and independent power grid, as well as rich natural resources, according to John D. Elder, president and CEO of Acclaim Energy Advisors. Unfortunately, even these are not enough to keep up with the increased demand for electric generation. Thankfully, with the help of ILS Technology, we can monitor usage and proactively balance the load to avoid service interruption and damage to mission-critical equipment.

The Acclaim Dynamic Load Optimization 365sm solution supported by ILS Technologys deviceWISE M2M Application Platform will be demonstrated this week at TIA 2012: Inside the Network in Dallas. Visit the M2M Pavilion for more information.

ETech 7 Inc. Announces Methods To Keep Check Security Breach of a Wireless Network, Inside Outside Office Premises

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 17, 2012

ETech 7 Inc, a managed IT services company, has announced methods to check security breach of a wireless network, inside and outside office premises. Wireless is an important technology that has gained a good amount of popularity in a very short span of time. It is something that has given the freedom to completely enjoy portability of gadgets with lesser hassles. Wireless network, as the name suggests, no wires are required to create a network rather a wireless device that acts as a sender and other devices, receivers connect to each other in a common radius.

Although, it is a very beneficial innovation that one can add to his office premises with minimal expenses, there are certain risks involved that need to be tackled very wisely. When there is a wireless network set up in the office, employees enjoy the mobility but on the other hand the wireless signals can also be received outside the building and hence increases the risk of data leakage and data leakage is the biggest enemy of any organization. Getting IT consulting from an IT company or expert is vital to ensure that all proper security measures are in place.

The additional level of network setup required to put up a wireless network is not simply that of installing a few Wi-Fi routers. As this is the most visible and obvious component in this type of network, we can say it is just the beginning. Due to the highly insecure nature of more wireless networks, you also need to deal with data leakage and with more complicated connectivity. Every new technology requires that your company’s networking services be kept tight with regard to data management so that proprietary information is maintained. said Emil Isanov, CEO at ETech 7 Inc.

There are certain ways that can really help escape data leakage like one can get his walls painted in a color that does not allow the signals to penetrate the wall and go out of the building. This will not allow anybody to get access to the data from outside the building but may prevent movability of the employees and serve to restrict certain freedom.

About the Company

ETech 7 is a technology services company dedicated to providing superior quality service to a wide range of businesses. Leveraging state of the art software and world class service, ETech 7 strives to deliver affordable and reliable solutions for all technological needs.

Any business of meaningful size needs computer networking, backup and disaster recovery, website development and management, search engine optimization, social media management, and inbound marketing. ETech 7 lightens the burden of a full time IT and internet marketing staff by allowing companies to outsource professional setup, routine maintenance, emergency assistance, project development, for IT solutions and internet marketing.

In the wake of Superstorm Sandys flooding, power outages and downed phone lines, Alpha TG has supported more than 60 companies to meet their critical IT needs and ensure business continuity. Alpha TGs proactive emergency response and recovery plans for each client, and the staffs rapid reactions on Oct. 29 and every day since, have successfully ensured every clients critical systems are fully and seamlessly operational. Alpha TGs highly skilled team of technicians has provided ongoing support to keep email and phone systems online, to protect data with automated backups and remote shut downs, to repair or replace hardware, and to quickly answer any other client concerns or problems as they arise.

Clients on their Superstorm Sandy experiences with Alpha TG:

Alpha Technology Group has managed the IT for my dental practice since January, 2012, and before they came on board I would have been completely unprepared for the challenges Sandy posed to my office, said Dr. Elliot Rand, owner of the Rand Center for Dentistry in Flanders, NJ. Without the Backup Disaster Recovery System they installed before the storm, and the replacement of my server, I would have been in major trouble.

Thanks to Alphas constant monitoring for the eminent power failure following Sandy, we were back up and running just 20 minutes after the lights went out, said Bruce Fuchs, President of Uneeda Enterprises of Spring Valley, NY. It would have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost business if Alpha hadnt gotten all our Virtual Machines back up.

Unlike most IT firms, Alpha TG guarantees around-the-clock availability and response times of less than 60 minutes. Billed as a flat-rate monthly fee, with life cycle equipment replacement built into the payment, Alpha TG makes small business budgeting easier by offering a fixed annual IT expense.

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 30 November 2012 It is the busiest time of year for most online retailers but a surge in visitor numbers can leave IT systems struggling to keep up. Many businesses (and their customers) will be noticing their website is sluggish leaving users frustrated and retailers less likely to make a sale. Cloud services provider, Databarracks, is offering online retailers free consultancy and analysis of systems to see how they could use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to effectively handle seasonal peaks in website traffic. Seasonal-based shopping can account for a large proportion of annual sales, so its essential your infrastructure can deliver when it’s busy, says James Watts, Head of Marketing at Databarracks. Online retailers often suffer from poor performance at Christmas as their IT infrastructure cant cope with the extra demand. You could choose to buy more servers to meet the additional requirement but they are likely to rest dormant for the rest of the year. Cloud computing solves this problem; AWS uses features like Auto-Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing to give you seemingly unlimited performance and resources. You always have the power to keep up during the peaks but you arent left with lots of spare capacity when sales and site visitors are lower the rest of the year, says Watts. As the Christmas count down accelerates, retailers may be starting to experience performance issues but it is too late to make any major changes without risking lost sales. Hence, the offer is timed to take place when Christmas is over and the New Year sales have finished. Businesses will be able to reflect on the period and look at ways to improve for next year, says Watts. Our consultants will be on hand to advise retailers on how they could use AWS to keep costs down and performance up in preparation for the next seasonal spike. To take advantage of Databarracks free consultancy offer, simply call 0800 033 66 33 before December 31st to book your assessment session and report. Sessions are timed to take place from 14th January to 28th of February 2013, once the Christmas rush is over and to allow a proper assessment of how websites performed over the busy period.
